Week In Review

Jordan and I were both off the entire first week of January and did a lot of lazing around to ring in the New Year. We did manage to get in a couple of good meals, watch two seasons of The Affair and reorganize our closets (my idea!). It feels good to get back to work but I’m starting to miss my DVR.

My aunt regularly travels to China for business and recently brought me back a package of serum masks. I convinced Jordan to give them a try one night which resulted in moist skin and this terrifying face-melting selfie.

I love sneakers but have a hard time finding great styles in my small size. So when I found out about Kith Women on Bleecker I immediately headed downtown to check it out. I had a hard time deciding on which pair to take home but eventually settled on these Nike Air Huaraches.

Nothing beats a three tiered stand filled with both savory and sweet bites. Especially when it’s paired with a variety of teas and set in the elegant lobby of a downtown hotel. We were running errands in Soho and saw a couple having afternoon tea through the window of The Crosby Hotel. The scene looked so special we decided to duck in for an elegant midday snack. The experience did not disappoint and I left obsessed with their china set, which I’m still trying to locate on the internet for purchase.
